This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers the website only. If you are a client of Evans Accounting and Consulting LLC, the information you give us in the course of an engagement is covered separately by our Privacy Notice and Confidentiality Statement, which we provide to every client.
What this site collects
When you fill in the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which passes the submission to us by email. We use it to respond to you and for nothing else.
When you call the number on this site. Call activity may be recorded as a conversion event by Google Ads — that we received a call, not what was said. We do not record calls.
Automatically, as you browse. Standard web server information — the pages you visit, the approximate region you visit from, the browser and device you use, and the site that referred you. Google's advertising and analytics cookies also record whether you arrived from one of our ads and whether you took an action afterward.
What we do with it
- Respond to inquiries you send us
- Understand which pages and which ads are useful, so we spend advertising money sensibly
- Keep the site working and secure
What we do not do with it
- We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you visited or called.
- We do not use it to build a profile of you beyond what the advertising tools above do on their own.
Who else is involved
- Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us
- Google (Google Ads, and analytics where in use) — measures traffic and ad performance, and sets cookies to do so
- GoDaddy — hosts this website
Each is a service provider acting on our behalf or under its own published terms. We do not give any of them permission to use your information for their own marketing.
Cookies, and turning them off
Cookies on this site are used for measuring traffic and advertising performance. You can block or delete them in your browser settings without losing access to anything on the site. You can also opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com and manage broader ad-industry opt-outs at optout.aboutads.info.
Retention
Contact form submissions are kept as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the inquiry. Traffic and advertising data is retained according to the providers' own retention settings.
Children
This site is intended for business and personal tax clients, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new effective date.
